Timco Rubber President & CEO Bob Kuzmick to Retire

Posted by Joe

After 37 years of service to Timco Rubber, including the past six as president and CEO, Bob Kuzmick has decided to hang up his durometer gage and calipers for a life of retirement.

Bob, son of co-founder Nick Kuzmick, began his career with Timco in 1977 as an outside salesperson and quickly helped put Timco "on the map" as the premier rubber supplier to the HVAC market. Timco continues to enjoy a very strong presence in that market today. Along with being on the road selling, which was in his blood, Bob also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for many years prior to taking over as President in 2008. Under his leadership the past six years, Bob has guided Timco Rubber through several storms including volatile material fluctuations and downturns in the economy. Under Bob's watchful eye, Timco has resumed growth and most importantly, was able to keep the incredible Timco team fully intact. In fact, as a result of Bob's leadership, Timco was able to add several employees to the team over the course of his tenure as President. Bob's management philosophy is simple; put the right policies and procedures in place. Train, have confidence in, encourage and challenge your people, and then step back and let them do their jobs.

Bob is a proud graduate of the University of Dayton where he has served in numerous capacities within their alumni organization, including president, over the years. The Flyers basketball team is a passion of his and his wife Beth. They live and breathe UD red and blue! They also enjoy traveling and live jazz music. His retirement will allow them to pursue more of both.

Although Bob is retiring from the day to day operations of Timco Rubber, he will continue in the capacity of special consultant and Chairman of the Board. We all wish Bob the best and thank him for his many years of service to the success of Timco Rubber Products!
